As described in the Tibetan Book of the Dead, there are still paths encountered once "living" ends, based on the nature of the death, which if understood while living could perhaps "soul-subliminally" inform us of what "we" may face, and how to prepare for that - how to guide our soul through to the realms of that which it is most capable, if not completely free, in which it is then reborn through the links of its human-bound natures into yet another body of some kind...
