A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer lives are
based on the labors of other men and women, living and dead, and that I must exert
myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving.

I want to know how God created this world.
I am not interested in this or that phenomenon,
in the spectrum of this or that element;
I want to know His thoughts; the rest are details.
